Attend the Cry Out America Sacred Assembly, September 10 in NYC (533 Views)

Dear Saints,

By the leading of the Holy Spirit, my husband and I recently decided to become county co-ordinators for the county we live in here in Connecticut. We were asked to participate in Cry Out America which is being presented by Awakening America (http://awakeningamerica.us/). Their hope is to reach every county in America and pray for a great awakening to take place in this country was again. On September 11 they have asked that people would be in at 12:00-1:00 people there would be one or a small group of people doing a prayer walk in their county courthouses.

At this time Billy will not be able to make it, not being physically capable to even be wheeled throughout the court house but I know he will try his best to be in prayer. Perhaps some of you have not even heard of this event but it is our prayer that this post will bring it to your awareness and that God would stir your heart to be in prayer for this nation for we are in need of it. Even beyond that, I believe it is God's heart cry that we be in prayer for a nation He has called to be a lighthouse to the world.

Below you will find an email that was sent to us regarding this Sacred Assembly and an event that is taking place the day before. If you live in or near NYC, please attend. God is calling us to awake out of our slumber and rise up to be the Light of this world we are called to be in Christ Jesus! Awake, awake America! Hear what we are told to do in Romans 13:11-14, "And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
