Prayer for Egypt
August 16, 2013 06:51AM
Heavenly Father, we lift to you today our brothers and sisters in Christ in Egypt. Our hearts and prayers go out to them today in their time of pain and sorrow. Holy One, we can't even imagine the intensity of the battle they are in. Darkness has touched their land and many lives are being lost. Lord, please be with them in their time of need. Comfort them, strengthen then and raise their faith in You that they would have trust In Your faithfulness and they would come take shelter in You and find rest in Your shadow. Father, Your Word says that You would punish the wicked and protect those who are found in You. Please, bring these words into manifestation for our brothers and sisters in Egypt. Please turn the tide and protect Your people from the hand of the enemy, in Jesus' name we pray.

Holy One, we also pray that You would open the eyes of those who have been deceived into following after a god who is not You. Open their ears that they might hear Your voice, in Jesus' name we pray. Since Cain slew Abel brother has been fighting brother. How this must break Your heart. You, oh God, are the Creator of mankind and You desire is that they would all come to know You through Your Son, Jesus Christ that they might be restored back to You in relationship and in truth. Yet pride fills they hearts of many and truth is far from them. Lord, help those who just don't know any better and grant them Wisdom and Truth! Bind the lies of the enemy and redeem Your people in Jesus' name we pray.

God, we are lost without You. Help those in Egypt. Help us all! We are all in such need...

"FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIF. FOR GOD DID NOT SENT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD BUT TO SAVE THE WORLD THROUGH HIM."" John 3:16-17

It wasn't the nails that held Jesus to the cross. It was His love for you that held Him there.
