MAKING WORDS FROM THE NEW TESTAMENT - 1 # 2 Thessalonians - March 9, 2008

This week’s New Testament books is 1 and 2 Thessalonians. These two books were also written by the Apostle Paul between A.D. 50 and 51 and the second book was written just a few months after the first. Both are words of encouragement and direction given to the church at Thessalonica. 2 Thessalonians gives the conditions that will be present at the time of Christ’s return as well as the great hardships that will take place and Paul tells them to be steadfast for surely Christ will return one day. We are all encouraged to be prepared and ready for that glorious day.
