This week’s books of the New Testament is Hebrews and James. These two books, along with the six that follow in the Bible are know as general epistles (letters). They were not addressed to any specific church or individuals but they hold a wealth of information. It is estimated that Hebrews was written sometime before A.D. 70 and it is not sure who the author is, perhaps Apollos or Barnabas. Hebrews presents Jesus Christ as High Priest and is addressed to the Jewish believers.
