Making Words from Biblical Names - June 1, 2008

As we continue with names in the Bible, we will be picking them as the Holy Spirit leads.

This week we are going to share on Adam and Eve. Adam was the first human created by God. He was created in God's image and God breathed His Spirit into Adam and placed him in a garden. God gave Adam dominion over the creatures He had created and saw that it was good. But God saw that Adam needed a helpmate so He took a rib out of Adam and from Adam's rib God created a woman and she was named Eve. You can read about Adam and Eve in the book of Genesis. Perhaps your dad or mom can read this book of the Bible with you and you can ask questions as you go along. It is so important that we read and know God's Word for in it we find our some very interesting and helpful things that God wants us to know.
