This week we are going to be talking about Ahimeleck. When David and his band of men were running from King Saul they came looking for provisions at Nob which was a priestly santuary outside of Jerusalem. Ahimelech provided food for them, the only food they had, "the bread of the Presence" which was bread consecreted for use at the sacred santuary. Ahimeleck also gave David the sword of Goliath. Later when Kind Saul learned what Ahimeleck had done, he was very angry that Ahimeleck and the other priests had helped David and his men.
