This Weeks Biblical Name - August 10, 2008

This weeks Biblical name is Bartholomew. He lived in 1 century A.D. and was one of Jesus' twelve disciples. He learned from Jesus and was one of those who sat with our Lord at what we have come to know as the "Last Supper". He continued on after Jesus went to be with our heavenly Father to help with the early church movement. We do not see mention of Bartholomew in the Acts of the Apostles but some think that, perhaps Nathaniel was his first name and Bartholomew could have been his father's name or last name.
