This weeks book of the Bible is Ecclesiastes. It was written between 940 and 935 A.D. and it’s author was probably Solomon. Ecclesiastes is written by a man thinking on his past failures and times of turning away from his faith. He considers how the non-important things of life have taken so much of his time and life. He also tells of his realization that the truth is that no man can be happy or have joy apart from knowing His Creator. This book tells us how we are all in need of our Lord, the giving of Life and that, apart from Him, we will not have true joy and happiness, everything else has no lasting value. Amen to that! We all need to live and for our Lord. Only then will our lives have meaning and joy. Praise be the Lord!!!
