This weeks book of the Bible is Hosea by the prophet Hosea between 790 and 730 B.C. In obedience to God, Hosea marries Gomer. It is a book of the Jewish peoples infidelity to God and the judgment that takes place because they refused to repent. It also goes on to share God’s love for His people and speaks of the coming restoration He will provide her. While Israel has not always been faithful to God, God is always faithful to us. Let each of us listen and do what God asks of us.
