This weeks book of the Bible is Habakkuk. This book was written between 609 and 589 B.C. Habakkuk is a prophet of God called to warn the people of their coming judgment. There is much sin in the land and Habakkuk seeks God on this and God lets him know that judgment is going to befall this land and it would come by the hand of the Babylonians. While Habakkuk does not at first understand why God would use such a sinful people to bring chastening, God reveals Himself all the more to this prophet.
