MAKING WORDS FROM THE NT BOOKS - 1/13/08 - Mark & Luke

So far we have covered this book in the New Testament:

Matthew

This week we are going to look at the books Mark and Luke. Mark was written between AD50 and 70. This gospel focuses on the things that Jesus did. It was written mostly to the Romans at that time and also to the Gentiles. Mark writes of how Jesus came to serve the people, not to be served by them. That is a lesson we all need to learn, to serve and help others and no ourselves. Luke was written between the years 58 and 70 A.D. and it is the longest of the 4 gospels. Luke was a Gentile physician before receiving Christ Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

This weeks books of the Bible are:

MARK and LUKE
