READING THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT IN THREE MONTHS
What better way is there for us to enter into the new fall season, going through the many wonderful holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and getting ready to step into a new year by reading through the New Testament and feeding upon the wonder of His Word and His Truth? Today we embark on a journey that will fill your heart with awe, thanks giving and praise to our Creator and Heavenly Father as we learn how much He loves us, how much He desires us to know Him and the great sacrifice He made to make that all possible through His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Each day I will post here the Bible reading for the day. Some days only that information will be made here. Other days you will read what the Holy Spirit has given me through that day's reading. Hopefully you will add your own comments here. Whether it be questions you might have or things to share with others from what you gleamed from it, please know there is no question too small or any comment not appreciated. Let us all go forth and grow in our faith and our walk with Him.

October 1 - Read Matthew 1 - 3
In this chapters you will see a transition take place from the Old Testament (Law) into the New Testament dispensation (Grace) which all starts with the birth of a child conceived by a virgin only by the miracle working power of God. Even in the awe inspiring wonder of God we see the lineage of old, showing that Jesus is the fulfillment of the promise God made with Abraham whereby all families on earth would be blessed through Abraham (Genesis 12:3; 17:7, II Samuel 7:8-17).
