PROPHECY & FULFILLMENT - Day 27- March 30, 2013 March 30, 2013 03:44AM |

Day 27 - Isaiah 52:15, Romans 15:21 - March 30, 2013
THE PROPHESY:
“So shall He startle and sprinkle many nations, and kings shall shut their mouths because of Him; for that which has not been told them shall they see, and that which they have not heard shall they consider and understand.” Isaiah 52:15
THE FULFILLMENT:
“But [instead I would act on the principal] as it is written, They shall see who has never been told of Him, and they shall understand who have never heard [of Him]. Romans 15:21
Long before Jesus appeared upon earth in the flesh the Jewish people had known of the coming Messiah, He Who would free them once and for all. As we have gone through the Old Testament we see where the prophetic word of His coming was taught to God’s people. Those words were taught to their children and then to their children’s children and on down the line, waiting and hoping for the glorious day that their Messiah would come. Yet, when He came, many of His own people did not receive Him. The Jewish leaders of the day not only rejected Him but also devised a plan to end His life! And while many received Jesus and the miracles He performed, when it came time for the rubber to meet the road, so to speak, there were many who were quick to add their voices to the crowd saying, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!”
We know that there were many who were not Jews who received Jesus as their Lord and Redeemer such as the Centurion , we read about in Matthew 8:5-13. After Jesus’ death and resurrection the Good News was spread out to the Gentiles and continues so today. We have heard of accounts in our day how people of various religions have seen or heard of Jesus and have received Him as their Lord. Praise be to God! Children who had never heard about Jesus have seen Him and their lives have been changed. Glory! We know that a door has opened in countries where the predominant belief system is Hinduism or Muslim. I believe there is a sprinkling there of knowing Who Jesus is but I also believe that His floodgates of living water are about to cover the earth and a great harvest is coming, a great multitude of those who will accept Jesus as their Lord and King.. Hallelujah! Let it be, oh Holy One, let it be, in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
Let our hearts not be hardened as were the Jewish leaders of that day when Jesus walked the earth. Let us continue to pray for the Jewish people, that they might come to know Jeshua as their Messiah and King and that their eyes might be opened to see Him as He truly is, the Son of God and their Risen Lord! Let us pray for the great harvest to come, that people’s hearts will be open to receive Him, to know Him. And let us pray for one another, that we be found do His will in the hour of His return. Amen? Amen. To God be the glory, forever and ever. Amen!
