Read Through New Testament in Three Months

October 10 - Matthew 23 - 24

Jesus makes it very clear the grievances He has with those who walked with a religious spirit, leaders who walked in pride and lorded it over others while they, themselves, did not do as the Word of God instructed them to do. We can learn much in these two chapters in regards to the religious spirit and man following after the wrong spirit while proclaiming to be a follower of their God. It also is a good reminder that while Jesus presented the love of God in His walk, He still was strong to voice the hypocrisy of the leaders of that day and naming them as vipers, fools and more warning them, "woe unto to you!" Jesus stood up to this evil and so must we!

Please invest in your life and those around you by taking the time to read God's Word and getting a greater understanding of who you are to be as a child of God and follower of Christ. You will never regret the time you give to God, His Word and to drawing closer to Jesus, the lover of our soul. God's many blessings to you now and forever as you are found in Him.
