Galatians 3:26-28 - One In Jesus

“For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you have been baptized unto Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:26-28

For tens of centuries the enemy has strived to break up the body of Christ and, might I add, with great success. Seems he knows better than God’s people that a ‘house divided cannot stand.” Even in the early church we see where some of the apostles are concerned about someone who is not walking exactly the way they do yet they are using the name of Jesus. You can see where that spirit of division was trying to cause problems even in the first century church! God never intended for His people to be divided. Rather He wants them to come together and be one in His Son Christ Jesus.

As Galatians 3:26-28 so clearly state, through Christ Jesus we are one in God’s eyes. We are neither Jew nor Greek, male or female, bond or free. We who have put on the baptism of Christ are one with Christ. Perhaps we can take this further in our day; there is neither Jew nor Catholic, Protestant nor Baptist, etc., etc. for those who have been baptized in Christ Jesus. We are all one through Him and with Him. The enemy has persuaded the body of Christ to be divided for too long. It is time to break the lies of the enemy and for God’s people to rise up as one body in Christ Jesus, a house NOT divided, standing on the promised truths of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us repent before our Father, through Jesus, asking forgiveness for our ill thoughts and words towards other brother and sisters in Christ who do not believe exactly the way we do. Whether our theology is in agreement or not, our blood line is pure and true, one in Christ Jesus. A body has many parts, differing from other parts yet very necessary for the body to be whole. Let us unite in Him and bring glory to our Father through His precious Son, Jesus Christ.
