California

Dear Father, when I think of California, the gold rush comes to mind, Hollywood, San Francisco and so much more. Holy One, You blessed this land with gold veins yet how much more have You blessed us with Your Son and the wealth and wholeness that is obtained through Him, lasting not just while on the earth but into eternity. Let California seek You even more than it sought the gold so many years past. Forgive them their inequities and may the cleaning blood of the Lamb cover their land, changing their hearts and bringing a great hunger for You. May the spirit of lust, greed lasciviousness be bond and chained, cast off into outer darkness forever from this state and may Your Spirit hover over it, bringing conviction and truth and a godly love that transcends worldly love. May Hollywood become “Holywood” sending out wholesome, moral, decent movies and television around the world. May the word “gay” stand for ‘happy and carefree; merry’, letting them place all their burdens upon the Lord and knowing His joy beyond compare. May God’s love be known to those in this state in such a powerful way that John 3:16 becomes alive and more real than anything else they have ever known. May You grant Your favor and anointing to Your people that they might walk forth in power and demonstration of Who You are, reviving the Jesus Movement that began 40 years ago. But this time, Lord, we pray that hearts will have been refined like gold, ready to receive the blessings you brought them then and accepting it now without critical spirits, but through that have been through the fire and now know the goodness of God towards ALL mankind, like minded with You desiring that none be lost. Help this generation to continue what was started back then but let the Jesus Movement continue for generation after generation until Jesus’ return. We claim this for California and for all states in this country, reaching out to other nations for Your glory and honor, in Jesus’ name let it be so. Amen.
