Louisiana

Precious Heavenly Father, as we lift Louisiana to You we are quickly reminded of the devastation that has taken place during hurricane Katrina and the countless numbers of lives that were lost. Holy One, we grieve for the loss of those lives and for the suffering that still going on there as thousands look to rebuild and resettle there or else where. Father, please forgive the sin and innocent blood that has been shed on this land in it's past history. Your grace is abounds more in places where darkness is. Please let the light of Your Son, Christ Jesus, shine brightly over this land, turning the hearts of the children to their heavenly Father. Reveal Your love and promise to the people in this state and as they rebuild in places where great destruction has taken place, may they build upon the solid Rock of Your Son and may their celebrations be godly ones, bringing glory and honor to You through Your Beloved Son, Christ Jesus. Thank You, Holy One, for hearing our prayers of repentance, gratitude and restoration for Louisiana, in Jesus' name. Amen.
