For a President Through Whom God Strategically Works to Reveal His will for America
Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; He sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.--Daniel 2:20-22
Awesome God, all things are in Your hands—times and seasons, wisdom and knowledge, things hidden and things revealed—You hold them all! Only You are worthy of the praise of our lips, yet we give our praise so readily to those who do not deserve it. O God, Your will is perfect and supreme over all things.
I ask You to raise up the president of Your choosing this year. Work in special and needful ways to bring about Your purposes for our country, Lord, and work especially through the president to accomplish that will. You have been so faithful and true to us, God. May Your will continue to be revealed to us through those who are elected this year. In Your Holy name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, there appears to be a bit of a gliche in the program as this was yesterdays request and prayer. Perhaps, by Your Spirit it was purposed to be so, having this verse and prayer said twice, denoting the importance of having a person in the presidential office who will declare Your will and Your desire for this nation. Father, Your Word shows how You honored Abraham, passing Your blessings down to his children, generation after generation. Abraham was a man You looked to as a friend, one You could trust. Holy One, it is firm in my spirit that You have trusted others throughout the ages, even those who set the foundational truths and precepts for this nation. Godly men and women came to claim this nation for You, even in calling it over time "One nation under God." Father, we ask that You once again grant favor to their labor, their prayers and their faithfulness to You. May the old wells of Your righteousness, justice and truth be dug once again in this land and may the name of Jesus be exhalted for Your glory and honor, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
