Prayer for the state of Tennessee

Good morning, Heavenly Father. What a joy and priviledge it is to come before You and intercede for the state of Tennessee. Holy One, it is a joy and priviledge to pray and intercede for the things You place upon our hearts, being but a small part of the house of prayer You have called us to be. Thank You for this opportunity. May Your kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in Jesus' name we pray.

Lord, Tennesse is rich in history as are all the states in this country, some good, some bad. Needless to say, it is in need of repentance and guidance as are we all. Please forgive this state for the wrong that has been done on it's land and in the lives of its people. Have mercy upon it and spread Your grace abroad its perimeters, touching the hearts and lives of those who live there. Father, the capital of this state, Nashville, is known as Music City USA. Wonderful music comes out of this state and it is where pop and rock Christian music is based. Please reveal to them a new song for this hour bringing heavenly music revealed from Your throne room that it might touch the hearts and souls of people all over the world, drawing them closer to You and to Your Beloved Son, Christ Jesus. Bring conviction and revelation to the hearts of the people that they might know Your Son as their Lord and Savior thus turning from the ways of the world into that of Your kingdom that it might be established here, for Your glory, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
