Precious Heavenly Father thank you for this day and for Your very presence with us. Jesus, thank You that You were willing to pay the price that we might be set free from our sins and from death. Blessed is Your name and how grateful we are to You, especially on this day, July 4th, a day in which this nation celebrates our "Independence Day." True independence comes from dependence upon You and our heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! Your Word says in John 8:36, "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." Glory to God!!!
Abba God, today we lift Utah to You. Reading of its history brings a heaviness. Much has occurred on this land. A spirit of deception has entered it's grounds and untruths have been accepted as truth. Holy One, please send Your mighty warriors to battle on behalf of the people who live there. Open their eyes of spiritual sight and let their hears be fine tuned to Your voice, in Jesus' name we pray. Have mercy upon its people, please forgive the land for the wrong that has taken place there and bring them to You through Your Son, to righteousness and truth, in Jesus' name. Let the banner of Christ Jesus be raised over the land and may the peoples heart be radically changed for Your glory. May Your Holy Spirit and grace touch the hearts of every man, woman and child there. Let it be so, in Jesus' name.Amen
