PRAY FOR YOUR CHURCH & OTHER CHURCHES
"I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in the inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together, with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:16, NIV &
"For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart be enlightened in order that you may know the hope which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength." Ephesians 1:15-19, NIV
- that they always be obedient to do the will of the Father through the Son by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
- for unity within and amongst the churches.
- more youth participation and interaction with adults and a greater building and strengthening of our youth ministry.
- more volunteers for church projects and functions that the community might be touched through the church.
- more financial support.
- better communication.
- more hunger for intimacy with Jesus and desire for the things of the Spirit.
- more flow in speaking in tongues.
- that we die to self.
- that there be more outreach for the lost and suffering.
- that we fast and pray more.
- that we cover our pastors and elders in prayer that they always do the Lord's will, and for protection for themselves, their family, their possessions and for their peopld.
-that we ALL strive to become mature Christians, walking in the footsteps of our Lord.
"And pray in the Spirit on all ocassions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should." Ephesians 6:18-20
