PRAY FOR OUR ENEMIES
"But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous." Matthew 55:44-45 NIV
- for mercy on their lives.
- for their salvation, that they come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and Friend.
- for prosperity for those in need.
- for their eyes to be opened to the Truth.
- for their hearts to be softened and healed.
- that we walk in the love and revelation of Jesus Christ when we deal with our enemies, seeing them as Jesus sees them.
- for wholeness in their lives of spirit, soul and body.
- that we forgive them.
- that the hand of the enemy be bound in their lives and their communities, in Jesus' name.
- we claim the victory over the enemy of this world, taking back that which belongs to God in Jesus' name for the earth is the Lord's and everything in it, the world and all who live in it. (Psalm 22:1)
