The People's Republic of China commonly known as China, is the largest country in East Asia and among the largest countries in the world. With over 1.3 billion people, about a fifth of the world's human population, it is the most populous country in the world. The Communist Party of China has led the PRC under a single-party system since the state's establishment in 1949.
The Constitution of the People's Republic of China states that the "fundamental rights" of citizens include freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to a fair trial, freedom of religion, universal suffrage, and property rights. However, censorship of political speech and information is openly and routinely used to protect what the government considers national security interests.
59% of the Chinese population, or about 767 million people — identify themselves as non-religious, however, rituals and religion — especially the traditional beliefs of Confucianism and Taoism play a significant part in the lives of many. About 33% of the population follow a mixture of beliefs usually referred to by statisticians as "Traditional Beliefs" or just "Other". About 8% of the Chinese population are avowed Buddhists, with Mahayana Buddhism and its subsets Pure Land, Tiantai and Zen being the most widely practiced.
With an estimated 100 million adherents, Buddhism is the country's largest organized religion. Other forms of Buddhism, such as Theravada Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism, are practiced largely by ethnic minorities along the geographic fringes of the Chinese mainland. A government official recently suggested that there are 16 million Christians however, an independent survey by East China Normal University estimated the Christian population at 40 million, much higher than the government's numbers but much lower than numbers favored by some Western observers. Official figures also indicate that there are currently about 100 million Muslims.

Holy and glorious one, I enter in to your throne room to lift up the People's Republic of China. Although this nations claim to fame is to be communist, you know the hearts of it’s people, you look into the hearts of everyone. What do you see? A nation who’s leaders have enslaved the people of the country for their own purposes. Their own purposes not your purpose or will for the people.
Send your warring, guardian, and ministering angels to do that which you have purposed them to do, set the captives free and minister to your sons and daughters and keep them safe. This I ask in Jesus’ name, amen.

Amen and amen. Holy One, Your Word says without faith it is impossible to please You. Though many in the the People's Republic of China say they have no faith or religious beliefs we know many have been placed in a position to keep their beliefs quiet. Father, these dear people are held captive by it's leaders. Even if we live in a land that says there is liberty, true liberty is only found in Him Who sets us free, Christ Jesus. Reveal Him to these precious souls that they truly might be set free and live a life of joy ever lasting, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
