“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, KJV).
- pray for God's favor that all men/women serving in our government be righteous before Him and have the fear of the Lord
- unity within its structure of government
- honesty, integrity, wisdom, godly counsel and compassion
- continue to stand for Israel
- strong leadership and reassurance that they are doing everything they can do
- that their decision making be formed on God's principles and not worldly gain
- that they esteem the people they ar serving higher than themselves
- that they recognize that our forefathers set this government up based on the Bible and that they come back to that
- that they repent for taking prayer out of the public schools and bring it back again
- that the words "One nation under God" reverberate in their spirit and that tjey strive to restore how this great country was first set ip and in the process tear down the gods of this world
