Sunday Prayer Mountain - RELIGION

"I pray out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in the inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measures of all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:16 (NIV)

"For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparable great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength." Ephesians 1:15-19 (NIV)

- that they always be obedient to do the will of the Father through the Son by the leading of the Holy Spirit

- for unity within and among the churches

- more youth participation and interaction with adults and a greater building and strengthening of our youth ministry

- more volunteers for church projects and functions

- more hunger for intimacy with Jesus and desire for the things of the Spirit

- more teaching about and more doing in speaking in tongues

- that we die to self and live for Christ

- that there be more outreach for the lost and suffering

- that we cover our pastors and elders in prayer that they always hear and do the Lord's will and for their protection

- that the body of Christ be such an example of God's love and Jesus' life on earth that people of all religions would be drawn to Him

- that we ALL strive to become mature Christians, for the glory of our Lord and our God

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this n mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all saints. Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery the of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should." Ephesians 6:18-20


Pray for Those in Ministry & Leadership

Sunday - FAVOR WITH GOD

Lord, we come before You today recognizing that we have fallen far from who Jesus enabled us to be as Your body and as Your Bride. We seek forgiveness of our short comings and ask You to please bring us back as Your glorious church. Father, Jesus said the world would know us as His disciples by the love we have for one another yet there is such division in Your church, among Your people who have decided that denominations was God ordained, yet it was not, and who hold themselves more higher than others. This ought not to be. We are one body, under the leadership of Jesus Christ and we need to wake up to what this means and start living it! Just like color of skin means nothing to You, neither does denominations give preference to You. What You are looking for are those who love and know You, seeking Your heart and Your will. Help us, oh Lord! Raise up pastors who seek Your will over the denominations they might be in, who seek to serve rather than to be served. Heal them and all of us from the inside out and please bring conviction to us to prayer for these pastors, to hold them up and encourage them. Take the pastor down then the whole church will start to crumble. The enemy knows this and he does his job well. Help us, as Your people, to do Your will in all aspects and bring You glory and honor, in Jesus' mighty Name we pray. Amen.
