WEDNESDAY PRAYER MOUNTAINS + PRAYER FOR THOSE IN MINISTRY & LEADERSHIP
Wednesday - Government
"The God of Israel spoke to me: 'When one rules over men in righteousness, when he rules in the fear of God, he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth." 2 Samuel 23:3-4, NIV
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2,9 KJV).
- pray for God's favor that all men/women serving in our government be righteous before Him and have the fear of the Lord
- unity within its structure of government
- honesty, integrity, wisdom, godly counsel and compassion
- continue to stand for Israel
- strong leadership and reassurance that they are doing everything they can do
- that their decision making be formed on God's principles and not worldly gain
- that they esteem the people they are serving higher than themselves
- that they recognize that our forefathers set this government up based on the Bible and that they come back to that
- that they repent for taking prayer out of the public schools and bring it back again
- that the words "One nation under God" reverberate in their spirit and that they strive to restore how this great country was first set up and in the process tear down the gods of this world
PRAYER FOR PUBLIC SERVICE WORKERS (Military, Policemen/Police women, Firemen, Postal Workers, Teachers, etc.)
"Give her (him) the reward she (he) has earned, and let her (his) works bring her (him) praise at the city gate." Proverbs 31:31 (NIV)
- that they know Jesus Christ as their Lord, their Rock, their protector
- cover with the blood of Jesus for safety
- wisdom to know what to do in split-second decisions
- for safety and health
- for their families and for unity and strength to be in their households
Pray for Those in Ministry & Leadership
Wednesday - Pray for their spirit, soul and body
Wednesday - Government
