The Republic of Finland is a Nordic country situated in Northern Europe. It has borders with Sweden to the west, Russia to the east, and Norway to the north, while Estonia lies to its south across the Gulf of Finland. The capital city is Helsinki.
Finland has a population of 5,297,316 people spread over an area of 130,559 square miles. The majority of the population is concentrated in the southern part of the country. Finland is the sixth largest country in Europe in terms of area, with a low population density of 15.5 people per square kilometre, making it the most sparsely populated country in the European Union.
Most Finns (82.5 percent) are members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. A minority (1.1 percent) belongs to the Finnish Orthodox Church. Other Protestant denominations and the Roman Catholic Church in Finland are significantly smaller as are the Muslim, Jewish, and other non-Christian communities (totaling 1.2 percent). A majority of members of the state Lutheran Church do not participate actively and even then it is mostly for occasions like weddings and funerals.

Blessed heavenly Father as I present the Republic of Finland and it’s people please try to not show your disgust and anger with them for they and the nation have come under a dark cloud which is the power of Satan and his demons. Send your warring angels to do battle with the forces of evil. Send your guardian angels to guard the four corners of this country, and send your ministering angels to attend to the wounded among the people and the government that let this situation become so critical. Open their eyes to who you are and hear their cries from your heavenly throne room and heal and bless the land and the people.
I pray this in the name of Jesus, amen.

We seek Your mercy and grace for the Republic of Finland. Father, please send forth Your warring and ministering angels to do battle against the powers of darkness. Holy One, we ask that You send Your Spirit over this land, to touch the hearts of every man, woman and child there. Bring conviction for their wrongful actions and reveal Your love to them anew that they might turn from their sinful ways and seek You like never before. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
